Terms of Use
Effective: September 1, 2026
1. The Agreement
These terms are between you and Shadow Sheep Labs LLC ("we", "us"). They cover our apps — Focus, Mail, Calendar, Reminders, Travel, Weather, Habits, and any others we release — and this website.
Using the apps means you accept these terms. If you get an app through Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them.
2. Your License to Use the Apps
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use. The apps and everything in them belong to us or our licensors.
3. Not Medical Advice
Our apps are organizational tools, not medical care. They adapt to preferences and accommodations you choose, and some read health data you permit (like sleep data) to time things better. None of that is diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and the apps are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
Selecting a profile or accommodation in an app is a preference setting. It is not a diagnosis, and the apps never ask you for one.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number, or in the United States call or text 988.
4. Subscriptions
The apps are free to use. Some optional extras are paid, either as an all-apps bundle or per app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The price and period are shown before you buy.
- Payment goes through your Apple account. Cancel any time in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
- Core features and safety features are never behind the paywall.
5. Acceptable Use
Please do not:
- use the apps to break the law or harm anyone;
- copy, sell, rent, or redistribute the apps, or work around their technical limits;
- reverse engineer the apps, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.
6. Your Data
Your data is yours. The apps store it on your device and, where you have iCloud enabled, in your own iCloud storage encrypted before it leaves the device. How we handle data — including what never leaves your device — is covered by our Privacy Policy and, for health-related data, our Consumer Health Data Policy.
Deleting an app's data, or the app itself, works the way those policies describe — you do not have to ask us first.
7. Disclaimers
The apps are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the apps will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Reminders, schedules, and notifications can fail — a device can be off, silenced, or out of battery. Please do not rely on the apps as your only safeguard for anything where missing an alert could cause harm, including medication.
8. Limits on Our Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty dollars if you paid nothing.
Some places do not allow certain limits on warranties or damages, so parts of sections 7 and 8 may not apply to you.
9. Changes
We may change the apps, add or remove features, or update these terms. If a change to these terms is significant, we will update the effective date at the top and say so plainly on this page. Using the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Washington have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
